This DTV payment error message can have a few different causes:
- The entered Zip could be incorrect. They will want to verify they did in fact enter the correct billing Zipcode on the Billing page.
- The entered Zipcode doesn't match what the bank has on file; they will need to call the bank to verify. This usually only occurs if they have just moved to a new Zipcode and have either forgotten to update it or didn't know it can take a few business days for the bank to update that information.
- Within the order, on the page you validate the pin and email on, they entered a different billing Zipcode because they have another address they want the bills to be sent. The customer can have a different billing address, but that is on another page. If they have entered a Zipcode on that page that does not match what is on the billing page with the Credit Card information, then they will get this message.
Finally, if these have been verified, and all are correct, and they still receive this message, there could be a backend issue and you will want to make a ticket to send over to the dev team.
